Handgun Introduction Class, April 28th (1pm-5pm), Outdoor Range Kennewick location.

Overview:

Class is an introduction to safe gun handling guided by the professional instruction of Practical Edge.  This is a live fire range class intended for those new to shooting, those looking to build initial confidence with firearms, and/or those that need extra personal attention to navigate physical limitations.

Class is 4 hours in length covering how your handgun works, firearm safety through hands on gun handling, and guide you through foundational shooting drills to build your confidence in safely handling a firearm.

Directions to the training location will provided upon registration.

Intended Student:

• New to firearm
• First time firearm owner
• No,or very limited previous experiences with firearms
• Looking for basic introduction to firearms

Prerequisite:

• Students must be legally able to possess a firearm.
• Waiver of Liability to be signed at start of class.
• Adult students, 18 years and older (16 or 17 year olds may attend with attending parent\guardian). 

Student Supplies:

• Eye protection (clear safety glasses recommended)
• Ear protection (double protection recommended, foam plugs and ear muffs)
• Note taking material
• 100 rounds of ammunition for pistol
• Handgun, 9mm or larger is required *
• Gun rentals available (includes 100 rounds of ammo).  Prearrangement required, please contact us prior to class, or select the option to include during registration

* Your provided handgun needs to be a full-sized framed pistol with a 4" or longer slide/barrel, and 9mm or larger caliber.  To learn and apply the class techniques properly, and in a safe manner, we need you to have an appropriately sized handgun.  Once learned, the techniques will apply to a smaller framed handgun, which you are welcome and encouraged to bring to class in addition to a full-sized handgun.

Class Cancelation/Refund Policy:
Due to class seating being limited, payment is required to register.  We will gladly provide student reschedule or refund with at least two week notice.  Cancelations with shorter notice are nonrefundable.  Class cancelation by Practical Edge for any reason will be rescheduled or refunded at student's preference.
