Practical Handgun class, April 22nd,  Kennewick outdoor range location.

Class builds a foundation of shooting skill while ingraining safe firearm handling through live fire drills and instruction. Class serves as a base to build from for defense, recreation, and sport. The shooting skills taught focus on accuracy with a handgun and the ability to drive the gun accurately at speed. Fundamentals and techniques taught will include stance, grip, visual focus, and trigger manipulation.

Class is intended for students with at least a very basic understanding of firearms. There are no prerequisites to attend this class, however if you have not previously fired a gun, are unsure, new to firearms, or would be more comfortable at a slower pace then we recommend attending our Handgun Introduction class prior.

Student to Instructor ratio is formatted to provide personal attention to each student, and individual skill progression. Regardless if you are newer to shooting or experienced, we will utilize our methodology to make you higher skilled. This is our foundational shooting class and is required, along with Practical Defense, prior to attending any of our secondary level classes. Class is a full 8 hour training day. Class is not overly physically demanding. It is several hours on the range, standing and manipulating a handgun. We take appropriate breaks.

Class is an 8 hour training day, 10am-6pm, which begins with classroom followed by live fire training.  There will be a one hour lunch break between the two blocks of instruction.

This class will meet the training requirment for Washington State Law, I-1639.
